The goal is to spotlight the faces behind our community and ensure everyone knows about local businesses -- big and small, old and new. I tackle this goal mainly through two means:-Events planned for Yelp Elites and the broader Yelp community to experience these businesses in an impactful and exciting way. -Content creation intended to inform the community of what's hot and new, stories of local business owners, and recaps of unforgettable experiences with Yelp.

I'm the role model that serves as the connection between Yelp Elites and local businesses. I plan events to highlight these businesses and take charge of the social media for my community.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Collaborated with team of 6-9 colleagues to complete projects, pitch ideas for new research, and write chapters of reports. Communicate with vendors to keep timelines on schedule. Respond to both internal and external data requests.Selected accomplishments:• Facilitated communication with vendors for 4 quantitative or qualitative projects, updating the technology trends phone survey and establishing teen focus groups.• Served 2 years as the Workplace Advisory Committee chair, managing subcommittees to address mental health, wellness, and environmental concerns in office.• Mentored 6 new team members on basic tasks for fact-checking and constructing reports, demonstrating leadership qualities in fortifying colleagues’ know-how and strengthening participants’ skills.

Played essential role in assisting team with projects, using SPSS statistical software and creating WinCross crosstabulation reports to compute analysis, developed tables and charts, and built toplines based on survey data. Selected accomplishment:• Curated and maintained 17 years' worth of survey data into an internally built database and analytical software, streamlining process of comparing trend data.

Supported team in executing surveys about preventative maintenance. Ran quality checks on received data in SPSS.

Calverton, Md

Participated in the process of grants and how quantitative research is conducted. Studied articles, created more than ten literature reviews, and contributed to contents of future grants. Promoted and oversaw ongoing phone interviews and collected data for publications.
