Principal lead on HR and security for the intelligence branch.Also volunteered on Officers' Mess Committee to improve feedback loop to soft services. By developing a Power Automate flow, data was collected from customers and used to maintain accountability of contractors.

During my tenure the formation re-rolled to an international-facing Security Force Assistance Brigade, led the development of a new UK Border Force department intercepting and processing all small-boat Channel crossings (Op ISOTROPE), and planned and prepared to train Ukrainian recruits on British soil (Op INTERFLEX).

Responsible for advising the Commanding Officer, planning and delivering unit tactical communication, and establishing deployed headquarters. Line manager for ~30 technical communication specialists. Developed contingency communication plans for the land element of UK's Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) and Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief to the Caribean (Op VENTUS).

Regimental Headquarters staff officer and unit lead for Operation RESCRIPT, military aide to the civil authorities during the Covid pandemic. Coordinated with multiple stakeholders across Government to execute deployment of mobile testing units, and establishment of vaccination centres across the central belt of Scotland and the Western Isles

Operation CABRIT. Principal interlocutor between the UK subunit, the US led Battlegroup, and other multi-national subunits, both in barracks and in the field.Analysed participating nations staff work and applied UK policy to assure interoperability.Lead co-ordinator of UK visits to the Training Area.

Command of eleven Light Cavalry reconnaissance soldiers in the field and in barracks. Responsible for their career management, welfare, and team cohesion.

Operation TOSCA. Shift work as Watchkeeper in central operations room. Coordinated depoloyed patrols in UN buffer zone and was duty interlocutor to opposing Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot forces. Drafted reports on potential breaches of ceasefire treaties.

Developed a software analytic tool to predict Radar Cross Sections of aircraft; used internally by radar engineers and for Defence Intelligence products.Incorporated extra capabilities resulting in an in-house capability which outperformed external contracts. Results were more accurate, available in days instead of months, and costing hundreds, not hundreds of thousands of pounds in comparison to existing commercial services.Selex Galileo Innovation Award and Runner Up for the Scottish Contribution to Business Awards.
