I am an accomplished engineering and biotechnology leader with a successful record in the delivery of engineering programs, teams, and core technologies/IP to realise commercial, product, and manufacturing targets. I am skilled at working in dynamic cross-functional environments - particularly hardware, software and life sciences - managing technical workstreams, non-technical stakeholders, and fostering a culture of agile and collaborative change. I am adept at talent acquisition and performance management, with a strong focus on building high-performing teams. The research for my doctoral studies was in the field of experimental and numerical heat transfer and fluid dynamics, with the objectives being to characterise the thermal-hydraulic performance of a microscale single-phase heat exchanger for critical microelectronic components. The research was conducted with industry sponsors Nokia Bell Labs an industry leader in telecommunications R&D, under the scope of their Efficient Energy Transfer Research Group. During my undergraduate studies I also completed an 8 month internship with Abbott Diagnostics, an FDA regulated global healthcare company. Through the projects I completed during this placement I was awarded their annual national intern award.
