• Technical and project lead for multiple concurrent teams implementing design/improvements of a cell culture automation system. Direct hands-on and oversight of all phases of interrelated workstreams (HW, SW, UI/UX, QA, technical writing, design). Managed the development of subprojects from customer requirements through to prototyping, testing, and deployment into systems. Projects included environmentally controlled cabinets (automated incubators and refrigerators), imaging systems, liquid handlers, and injection molded consumables. Conducted design reviews and designed parts in OnShape using design for manufacturing principles • Led customer demos of the cell culture system and individual subsystems. Collected data and compared metrics of our system to other competitors’ systems. Answered customer questions and gathered customer requirements • Led our first installation of the cell culture system at a top nationally ranked pediatric hospital in Boston. Managed scheduling, troubleshooted and devised solutions for hardware and software fixes, and ran tests to ensure the system performed to customer expectations • Continually acquired new skills necessary to ensure successful project completion. Examples include manual maintenance of cells to deepen relevant industry knowledge about cell science, and learning conversational Indonesian to better communicate with and mentor our remote teams in Indonesia • Identified potential future limitations of the cell culture system and advocated for the development of product improvements to allow for better manufacturability, reliability, speed, modularity, etc.

• Created engineering drawings for various system parts using AutoCAD• Reverse engineered system cables and wiring for several systems. Saw a lack of organized lists of parts in systems, and took initiative to compile lists for future use in documentation packages delivered to the customer• Created new LabVIEW VIs for system applications. Ran, debugged, and performed quality checks for NI TestStand/LabVIEW based applications on multiple systems to prepare for customer visits• Led a customer visit on a high-profile project. Due to my contributions, the visit was completed 2 days ahead of schedule, and the customers approved the project for delivery and commissioning. Sat with customers, demonstrated systems, and answered questions on several other customer visits• Designed circuit for linear actuator lift/relays/switch based on specifications• Created Test Strategy Documents, Software Design Documents, and Software Requirement Specifications• Assisted in build of systems from scratch. Helped with system modifications when necessary (sheet metal modifications, installing new hardware, soldering electronic components)• Reviewed and approved all engineering drawings for several systems under tight deadlines

• Worked with the Thingworx IoT Toolkit and IFTTT to create LabVIEW VIs to read from and write to various APIs, including Facebook and Google Sheets.• Wrote programs for the Beaglebone Blue.

Tufts University

• Designed a robotics kit to interface with the National Instruments myRIO hardware. The kit is currently in use at Tufts to teach robotics. Used a laser cutter, 3D printer, Solidworks, and OnShape to design and fabricate custom components and mounts.• Designed and created custom circuit boards using Eagle, researched and soldered electrical components.• Created LabVIEW VIs to run, test, and debug myRIO components.
