Prior to the creation of this process, budget and forecast consolidation was a manual Excel driven task. Total saving of 40 hours per month in forecast consolidation time eliminated and a substantial improvement in data integrity with the elimination of manual Excel spreadsheet consolidation. Implemented a project to produce detailed business unit level working capital metrics in order to increase compliance and reduce working capital costs. 30% reduction in interest expenditure in the 3 months subsequent to new working capital KPIs and enforcement mechanisms being put in place. Working capital charges are now imposed at a granular business unit level, resulting in immediate impact on business unit managers and driving effective behaviour change. $600k interest saving in first three months of operation.Creation of full balance sheet, cash flow and P&L model to assist with business unit divestment and acquisition activities.
