As the Director of Health & Benefits for Broome Associates and an active leader in all levels of North Carolina’s health underwriting associations, my career is devoted to the advancement of health insurance value and affordability for groups and individuals in North Carolina. Through leadership at the local level with Western Piedmont Association of Health Underwriters (WPAHU) and at the state level with the North Carolina Association of Health Underwriters (NCAHU), I retain a voice in the industry with current knowledge in policy changes and possibilities. I am passionate about promoting the most beneficial products and translating the ever-changing intricacies of health care legislation into successful compliance for clients.At Broome Associates, my primary role is managing the Health & Benefits Department. We are a team that provides products and services in individual health care, Medicare supplements, group health for small to medium groups, benefits administration, and compliance. We consider global and specific needs of the client in determining proper products and services to provide the most value. Once part of the agency, our highly skilled account managers are willing and prepared to take on any challenge for our clients in our goal of achieving the highest level of customer service every day.
