ESSN - Enterprise Servers, Storage, & NetworkingAs a member of the Enterprise Server, Storage, & Networking group I focused on providing Pre-Sales technical support.• Responsible for providing extensive technical support to HP internal sales, presales, customers, distributors, and channel partners including delivery of technical pre-sales information, consulting, product evaluations, presentations and seminars. Emphasis was placed on accelerating the sales process by providing quick, appropriate, and accurate responses.• Responsible for providing and selling complete solutions based on the entire HP Network product portfolio including FlexNetwork (Data Centre, Campus, and Branch), IMC Network Management, Virtual Connect, and IRF virtualization. As a member of the Sales team I provided pre-sales technical support with a primary focus on the design of 3101 Point-Of-Sale (POS) networks. Design authority for several national POS networks provisioned to service 1.7 billion transactions annually. Provided ongoing capacity planning involving hundreds of ISDN PRI’s and Frame Relay T1’s.

As a senior member of the Systems Engineering group I developed solutions for internal & external customers. Provided 2nd & 3rd level support and Professional Services for several customer networks.

Managed all aspects of an In-House Equipment Refurb & Repair (ERR) department servicing data communication products with a staff of 28. This included repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting, Six-Sigma quality control, cycle time goals, defect escalation, personnel staffing, & performance reviews.
