My ultimate goal as an Architect is to have satisfied clients while improving my local community and environment. I strive to do this by fostering a collaborative team approach to every project. The client and their staff, the contractors, consultants, planning and building officials and the communities in which our projects are located, all play a vital role in their success. Any architect worth their salt will tell you no different.Career History:I am an NCARB certified architect, registered in Oregon, California, Washington & Idaho. I am a proud graduate of Washington State University, Go Cougs!, with a Bachelor of Architecture & Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.Out of university, my career started in Delray Beach, FL with the firm, Digby Bridges, Marsh & Associates. During the six years of working with the firm, I completed my IDP through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).After my time in Florida, I moved back to Washington where I worked at the firm, Brotnov Architecture & Planning in Clarkston, my home town. While here I passed my ARE, registered as an architect, and gained NCARB certification.I moved to the Rogue Valley in 2013, joining ORW Architecture, where I am now one of three Principals and continue to pursue my goals as an architect and human being.I am a generalist regarding my experience, as I have had the pleasure of working on a wide variety of projects including: high-end to modest residential, automobile dealerships, places of worship, health care, educational, municipal, and public safety facilities, historical preservation, restaurants, retail spaces, and office buildings and interiors.As the son of a residential contractor, I grew up on construction sites. I’ve, on more than one occasion, smashed my thumb or stepped on a nail. This experience has given me a respect and understanding of contractors, the construction trades, and a sense of ease among contractors and their crews.
