I reinforced my strong interpersonal skills while completing safety training and orientation for new crew members, sub-contractors and visitors. Using knowledge from my courses, I practiced surveying skills by using a laser level daily to assist in pile height calculations. Along with this, I worked with a consulting field engineer to perform tieback stressing. I helped an average of 100 customers each day to diagnose issues with pool equipment, sold customers the appropriate parts. I also sold pool equipment to many customers. I used my understanding of fluid mechanics to offer hydrological advice to customers when planning pipe layout. Throughout the work term, I maintained and upgraded current spreadsheets, as well as creating a computerized list of stock to speed up the sales process.
