Experienced Bioinformatician| Computational Scientist | Project Manager developing novel applications in diagnostics and therapeutics for aiding organismal wellness and counteracting diseases. I work well in a collaborative setting across many disciplines/ focuses and with diverse teams, and can lead/manage diverse research projects. I enjoy addressing the challenges of applying novel integrative omics and NGS technologies towards biological discovery and next-gen product development (e.g. single-molecule diagnostics). My customized machine learning, data integration, and statistical efforts have resulted in novel translational findings impacting the clinical realm (in cancer, HIV, metabolism, neurodegeneration, stem cell differentiation, etc.). I am also experienced in the development, incorporation, and application of algorithms in various technology frameworks (whether app, website, or cloud-based). I also have an interest and passion for STEM educational/training outreach, as well as applications of VR and 3d-printing technologies to augment biomedical research and scientific collaboration.
