The device prevents accidental needle sticks and may be sent out in clinical trial packages. • Modified firmware of, wrote device drivers for, and developed a virtual robot pendant desktop program to provide enhanced control of a commercially available robotic arm as a certified OEM for the device• Designed and programmed a modular integrated robotic system capable of running a broad range of experiments. The platform increased siRNA florescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) weekly assay throughput by 12-fold and reduced screening costs by ~70%, from $1800 to $500 per plate.
