I lead our Coastal Engineering advisory services across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as Manage our Systems and Resources at FSC Range. We work with our clients to reinvent the way communities interact with the coastal environment. To achieve this, we look to identify how we can bring the latest research, knowledge and thought into every project.

At The University of Melbourne I work across research disciplines on a wide range of coastal problems. I currently work on the development of physical process based understanding of how a range of ecosystems affect waves, coastal erosion as well as coastal flooding. - Sediment transport in coral reefs. - Undertaken in association with the CSIRO, UNESCO | IHE (The Netherlands) and Deltares (The Netherlands).

I work with organisations and government agencies to gain an in-depth understanding of physical processes in coastal waters to minimize impact, reduce response cost and increase the resilience of ecosystems, infrastructure and coastal communities. I specialise in the design, management and execution of scientifically sound projects to obtain the data, using traditional and emerging technologies, and to interpret this data to inform and develop innovative strategies, novel solutions and policy.
