With over a decade of professional experience in the fields of recreation, education, and childcare, I am passionately dedicated to fostering an environment that encourages growth and curiosity in young minds.My journey began at The Grove National Historic Landmark, a facility of the Glenview Park District. Here, I honed my skills in recreation and program instruction, teaching visiting school groups and summer camp programs that provided rich, engaging experiences for children.My role at the Eye Level Learning Center allowed me to teach English and Writing to children aged 3-12 on an individual basis. It was a rewarding experience that reinforced my commitment to personalized education.At the Wilmette Park District, I assumed diverse responsibilities such as coordinating field trips, teaching early childhood classes, assisting with DCFS accreditation, and directing their mini-camps and before and after-school care programs. Each role introduced new challenges that enhanced my competency in early childhood education and program management.The administrative and staffing coordination role at UNITED Pharmacy Staffing presented a different set of challenges, including managing HR processes, candidate recruitment, and employee onboarding. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of administrative coordination and human resource management.Currently, I serve as the Childcare Coordinator for the Hoffman Estates Park District, which has allowed me to seamlessly integrate my passions for education and recreation. In this role, I help oversee all youth programming such as the DCFS-accredited preschool, childcare center, before & after school care, mini-camps, school day out trips, summer camps, kindergarten enrichment, and youth-related special events. I also handle a multitude of administrative tasks in the school-age and early childhood departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.In addition to my practical experience, I am currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at National Louis University. As a skilled communicator with strong writing abilities, I have consistently demonstrated my capacity to translate complex ideas into accessible language. The basis of my commitment is to make a positive impact on the lives of children, families, and the community as a whole.
