The following summer prompted me to apply this strategy to the yard work business. The outcome? A 1,200% return on investment in marketing(ROI).That year a teacher asked me to do some marketing for her business. I couldn't let an opportunity like that slide. After two months, their social media sees 300% growth. With that came website traffic and most importantly, customers.Through that experience I found that I could turn this marketing skill into cash. Friends suggested I do the same marketing for other businesses. That's how Expand Media was born. In those earlier days, if you'd tell me I would be marketing I would probably laugh. Computers weren't exactly my comfort zone.Sure, there are times when it gets tough. But that's what makes it fun, otherwise It would just be the same boring strategy over and over again. The challenge is what keeps me doing it, every client comes with a whole new audience and set of challenges.
