I am a Cyber Security Engineer at Gypsum Management and Supply (GMS), a leading distributor of specialty building materials in North America. I contribute to the protection of the company's IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats, using my expertise in cloud security, network security, and cybersecurity risk management.With the help of my team, I design, implement, and monitor security solutions and policies. I also conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security awareness training, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. In my previous role as a SOC Analyst at HHS, I supported the detection and mitigation of cyberattacks on the federal health system, handling over 500 security events per month.I graduated from Georgia State University with a B.B.A in Computer Information Systems, specializing in cyber security. I have also earned the CompTIA Security+ ce certification, demonstrating my competency and commitment to the field. I am passionate about learning new technologies and skills, and I aspire to advance my career as a cyber security professional.
