Andrew is the General Manager of Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance for Alliance Airlines. He has over 35 years of experience in technical and leadership roles in aircraft MROs and is a CASA approved Part 145 Responsible Manager and an FAA approved Part 145 Director of Maintenance. Andrew is highly experienced in the establishment and operation of Part 145 base maintenance MRO facilities, obtaining NAA regulatory approvals, major aircraft maintenance and modification and leading Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery both on and offshore.Holding leadership roles in a range of disciplines, Andrew has led significant projects in:• MRO establishment• Operational and Maintenance Information System specification and design• Organisational change• Lean process - Production Engineering• Cost control and Turn Around Time reductionAndrew has negotiated and managed several significant 3rd party heavy maintenance contracts and was previously invited to participate in Supplementary Type Certificate Design for the B747 fuel tank inerting system at Boeing’s production facility in Everett, Washington.
