I am an experienced trial and appellate litigator who represents companies and individuals involved in complex litigation. I also advise on company regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on data privacy and cybersecurity issues. I have written and presented on topics related to litigation, electronic discovery, data privacy, cybersecurity, and several other substantive areas. I hold the CIPP/US designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.I am a past president of the Federal Bar Association (New Orleans) and New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, where I chaired the post-Katrina task force. I am also a founding director of the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music and a board member of the Bureau of Governmental Research and the Louisiana Center for Children's Rights. My pro bono work has included the successful representation of a Louisiana "Death Row" inmate.
