Pianist And Session Leader For Singing For The BrainAlzheimer'S Society Dec 2012 - PresentChristchurch On The Stray, Harrogate, North YorkshireI thoroughly enjoy leading the weekly sessions at Harrogate's Singing for the Brain group.I choose a wide selection of songs and music for the members to enjoy and singalong to.Each week we have around 25 very enthusiastic singers who take part in singing songs, playing percussion instruments and singing in 2,3 and 4 part rounds.A very friendly group of volunteers provide extra support and encouragement as well as a welcome cuppa and delicious cake and biscuits

I teach piano at 3 primary schools, Sessay C of E Primary, Sowerby Community Primary School and South Kilvington C of E Primary School. The youngest pupil is in the infants aged 5 and the oldest aged 11 in the Juniors. I have also just had two pupils move onto Secondary school and look forward to teaching them again.To see the children excited about learning a new piece and mastering the next challenge is extremely rewarding and a real privilege!I also have a large number of private piano pupils who I enjoy teaching from my piano studio in Ripon, North Yorkshire. I'm also really enjoying teaching an increasing number of teenagers and adults.

He will set up in good time and make the point of talking to the residents during and after the event .Andrew has gathered together a selection of easy to handle percussion instruments that are always the highlight of the day!Every resident has the opportunity to play along to well known tunes that form the finale to Andrew’s Musical Experience.
