Profile bio

About Andrew Roselo

I am a self-driven and optimistic individual who graduated in December 2022 with a Masters degree in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco's School of Education. With a degree focus on critical service-learning in an education-based setting, my own professional interests revolve around expanding the opportunities for others to reflect on the inequities of diverse communities, while also gaining an overall understanding and comprehension of the unique cultures that the world has to offer. With experience in non-profit program and volunteer management, I believe that my greatest professional skill lies in mass amounts of organization relating to community-based programs. Also, given the right amount of information and practice beforehand, I tend to enjoy presenting information to an audience. My career aspirations in the past have ranged from wanting to be an author, a newspaper journalist, a roller coaster designer, a movie director, and even a prolonged period of a desire to be a Walt Disney Imagineer. Although my own career aspirations have changed drastically over the years, one thing has stayed constant: a passion to be in a career that allows me to be creative with expanding upon my skills.Through the experiences that I have gained over the years through various volunteer and professional opportunities, I am striving towards a career centered on service-learning and community engagement. I desire to commit myself to a career within an academia environment, such as a university's service-learning department. I also have a long-term goal of continuing my education towards a doctorate degree - specifically an EdD. For now, I am enjoying my attempt to make the world a better place and engaging the community to do the same in small steps.

Listed skills include Research, Volunteer Management, Powerpoint, Community Outreach, and 12 others.
