Expanded role taking on responsibility for the sales team while retaining accountability for manufacturing with full P&L, OPEX and CAPEX responsibilities, leading a team of 120 people through 8 direct reports.Leading a top-to-bottom review to implement a new sales process (account plans, call cycles and share of wallet program) to improve structure and consistency in results, we doubled profitability over three years and reduced shipping and other logistics costs by focusing our most freight-intensive products toward the VIC and SA markets, consolidating sales branches and manufacturing sites, eliminating 2 facilities and shifting to a 3PL model for Newcastle and Wollongong.

Recruited to transform and improve manufacturing performance and quality at Fletcher’s manufacturing facilities in VIC and NSW with ambitious productivity, cost, error elimination and service delivery targets. I created a team atmosphere of trust and improved the work environment while transforming manufacturing operations across the enterprise, including consolidating sites and resolving legacy cultural issues related to previous mergers/acquisitions. I improved processes, output, EBIT and costs while implementing a culture of collaboration and respect between management and labour with improved safety and engagement.

Appointed to build a B2C energy solutions business to sell solar and energy-efficient products and solutions in a quasi-start-up environment. I continued in my previous energy improvement role while continuing to build the new solar B2C business driving toward profitability over the period. I increased conversion from 10% to 30% through lead nurture, customer care management and sales force training. I was also critical in accelerating revenue growth through the creation of a new business selling commercial solar systems to B2B customers.
