Support continued development of the Battlefield Air Operations (BAO) software suite. The goal of the BAO Kit is to improve the performance of the Air Force Special Operations Command Special Tactics and Personnel Recovery operator during target acquisition and control, combat search and rescue, and personnel recovery operations, reducing potential for errors, enhancing the safety and security of friendly forces, and, ultimately, reducing the risks of fratricide. The software is currently approved for real world usage by AFSOC Combat Controllers.The targeting and situational awareness software suite is developed using a tailored Agile development methodology with two week sprints. Peer reviews are incorporated into every step of the process, allowing for near real-time feedback of developed products.Responsibilities include: Analyze, debug, and correct reported software bugs and enhancements. Implement and document source code to design specifications. Perform software testing including developing and running unit tests and executing structured test cases. Design and develop software solutions for BAO's Windows platform using C# as well as our Android platform using Java. Implement functional requirements and design, implement, and test software. Perform operations & maintenance of existing systems. Write system design and application code documentation. Perform complex analysis, design, development, and implementation of new software procedures, data changes, and user requests.
