Working with Western Distributors is a fantastic experience & opportunity as every 2-3 days I would switch roles and:- Work in the showroom to greet customers & negotiate on a price suitable for them- Prepare customer orders ready for delivery or pickup- Perform physical stocktakes and order stock if needed - Assist customers with any inquiries and provide them advice on which products we recommend to use - Handle customer complaints in person & over the phone- Cross-referencing tile batches to ensure old batches are sold first - Organizing couriers or contractors to deliver tiles if needed

Working at Big W was a great experience for me as I got to work in different parts of the store, I would:- Work at the registers and help my colleagues when understaffed or busy - Be responsible for inventory management where I would perform physical stock takes and cross reference inventory with the stock book to check for any errors.- Clean areas of the store and restock shelves - Work with my manager to assign my colleagues with tasks that were matched with their strengths- Meet and greet customers at the door and provide them with our catalogue of the latest discounts and pricesI enjoyed the work culture at Big W as was met with friendly staff and managers and felt like a place where I could relax and at the same time work hard.
