Arch works with top-tier global manufacturers to drive intelligent actions from machine and factory data. We focus on the electronics and discrete manufacturing supply chains, digitizing both greenfield and brownfield factories. Manufacturers use Arch’s Global and Local Operations intelligence (GLO) and our pre-built Process Insights to drive massive improvements in utilization, OEE and yield. The vast shortage of skilled labor and global reshoring is met by insights and intelligent actions that guide and uplevel people globally to run best in class operations. Our software is deployed over more than 150 factories, powered by the data of 10,000 machines and factory systems helping guide operations alongside over half a million manufacturing professionals at our customers. Arch began by monitoring wells in Tanzania, Africa where cutting-edge IIOT and advanced analytics technology was developed to make older machines smart. Worked first on Deliberate, video unconference social network, and other trust based communication platforms. Then turned to data developer platforms and Industrial IoT, eventually joining Tim to found Arch Systems.

Part of early team that built StartX. Initially I was a volunteer on the community team, then was the key person in StartX and the Stanford student government (SSE) to hold the organizations ties together as we fully transitioned to independent non-profit. I then led Stanford strategy building ties to all the other amazing groups, was a founding member of the Stanford Entrepreneurship network and started Stanford Startup Weekend we through in the Skybox with Sequoia Capital backing. I cofounded StartX hardware and MentorLabs, a pre-StartX accelerator that partnered with the Rajeev Circle a group of 400+ amazing mentors, many early Googlers and mentored many amazing companies such as DoorDash.During my time on the team, StartX accelerated over 400 companies, and invested over $100M via the Stanford-StartX fund. This more than doubled after my time on staff.

Set world record for efficiency of a water splitting silicon photoanode via chip design developed on custom built machines. Collaborated with leading equipment solution companies to build novel atomic layer deposition (ALD) fabrication and test equipment to support our design goals. Developed theory of leaky capacitors and published thirteen papers. Published in Nature Materials and awarded MRS gold, the highest graduate student award in Materials Science.

Video 'unconference' social network concept I prototyped with co-founder Keld Lundgaard. We built a simple scheduling layer in Clojure and iPhone app in Swift on top of Zoom video conferences for people all over the world to drop into live chats and talk about impactful themes (climate, surveillance, personal health, religious differences). Our Wizard of Oz prototype rapidly got signups from people in over 40 countries with multiple video call rooms lasting over an hour with people describing unparalleled connections to strangers and new personal realizations. Perhaps a metaverse idea ahead of its time.Made a visiting scholar of the Stanford Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law. Was StartX IIR, Founder.org fellow (Michael Baum's accelerator), and member of Stanford and Columbia Brown Institute for Media Innovation program while working on the concept.

Fundamental research in wide band gap semiconductor systems GaAs, GaN, InGaAs and high-k dielectrics. Helped graduate students building novel molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) machines to support our goals. Was master trainer and equipment maintenance owner for atomic force microscope (AFM) and Xray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) machines in shared university lab.

Lead singer/songwriter for rock band, put out 4 albums, wrote over 200 original compositions, toured in Florida. Favorite show: Opened for the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center.

Created a molecular switch for next generation electronics, co-author on two influential papers.
