My role encompasses both inbound and outbound product management responsibilities in order to effectively guide new product investments, manage cross-team feature development, and stay close to Workiva's customers across industries.Selected Accomplishments:- Refreshed the roadmap for a $9M/yr energy solution (FERC reporting), launching new features that helped us achieve 67% market pen and 98% revenue retention. Prototyped new solutions for existing Energy clients to assess the growth potential for this industry.- Spearheaded Workiva’s entry into the $13B Carbon Management market via acquisition. Conducted in-depth market research and customer interviews to build the case for entering the market. Led the product and technical evaluations of partners and potential acquisition targets, resulting in the $100M acquisition of Sustain.Life and launching of Workiva Carbon in June 2024.- Led a cross-functional effort with engineering and ex-Sustain.Life teams to define and start development on a centralized data platform to bring Workiva's solutions' data together and unlocking new exciting capabilities in data management and performance analytics. Research findings drove new product development, informed GTM strategies for existing products, and directed the allocation of engineering resources.Selected Accomplishments: - Conducted comprehensive research for Salesforce's new internal ML/AI platform including internal user and stakeholder interviews, technical documentation reviews, and competitive analyses. The following recommendations directly resulted in new product investments to fill critical gaps (ex. building a ML Ops / Job Orchestration Console) that had hindered broader adoption.- Co-led the development of a new AI Maturity Model to explain to executives why Salesforce's AI platform apps had only seen select adoption by some customer segments. The AI Maturity Model clearly outlined the mismatches between end users' expectations / skillsets and the current "no code" tools on the market. These findings resulted in the EOL'ing of certain apps due to poor market-fit and refreshed GTM strategies/roadmaps for others.- Managed multiple research projects that enhanced the overall user experience and search functionality within the Salesforce ecosystem. Working alongside PMs, Engineers, and UX Designers, we built new customization features that made Einstein Search more usable. Next we created Einstein Search Answers, a natural language search tool designed to save users time by instantly summarizing content from Salesforce objects and fields.

The new data pipeline opened up previously unreported usage data for Salesforce's Digital Engagement apps .- Delivered multiple product dashboards, novel analyses (ex. competitive win/loss analyses and Net Adoption Scores), and strategic recommendations to product execs that told the stories of how Service Cloud's customers use the software and what value they're getting from the products.
