As the Facilities Manager I am responsible for the safety and comfort of the occupants of our Operations Center as well as 10 branch banks in Sioux Falls and 1 branch bank in Madison. My previous experience as a Facilities Assistant and Senior Facilities Assistant gave me the technical background and experience to serve as a strong foundation in my current role. My success is dependent on exhibition of strong leadership skills while coordinating with vendors and co-workers through long-term projects and daily maintenance duties. My role also gives me the opportunity to work with the Facilities AVP on the financial and organizational needs of the Facilities Department. I work daily to hone my communications skills and recognize opportunities for successes for the entire Facilities Team.

As a Senior Facilities Assistant my advanced working knowledge of the building systems that are critical to employee safety and building systems support allowed me to act independently when dealing with system issues. My advanced computer skills with MS Office, Autocad LT, and Siemens Apogee workstation were critical to my success. I was also responsible for expense and vendor management and scheduling. My on-call, after-hours availability were also key to my success in this role.

My primary duties involved general apartment maintenance including plumbing and electrical upgrades, maintenance upkeep on buildings including drywall repairs, grounds maintenance including irrigation systems maintenance and snow removal, pool maintenance including chemical testing/balancing and cleaning, inventory management and expense control. This was an on-call position with responsibility for other housing complexes.

This was a live-onsite on-call position with on-call responsibilities at other locations.

While at WIU I helped to develop a work ticket system to establish accountability and round trip satisfaction of expectations. My additional duties included inventory management, expense tracking, and vendor management.
