Andy is a senior manager in the Corporate Pensions division.

Andy was a senior actuarial consultant in the UK Retirement Practice at Aon Hewitt. He has extensive experience advising companies and trustees on the management of their pension schemes, and has undertaken a number of long term client secondments. Andy has a strong actuarial and technical background, and is particularly knowledgeable about scheme funding, benefit design & audit and pension administration issues, and in the provision of actuarial, technical, strategic and general consulting advice to pension scheme trustees. In relation to his client portfolio, Andy has taken the lead on the following projects/roles: benefit audits, scheme design changes, auto enrolment implementation, PPF levy management, scheme funding valuations and factor reviews, regulatory and tax changes, creating and revising communication materials and client relationship management.He was also a member of the leadership team for the Pensions Actuarial Services group, a group of 250 colleagues responsible for supporting the senior actuaries and consultants in the UK Retirement Practice, developing future actuaries and consultants and delivering one third of its revenue. In addition, Andy had direct responsibility for leading and managing the Bristol office Pension Actuarial Services team, and growing the Indian team supporting the Bristol office operations.Andy had particular responsibility for the development and management of colleagues in the Pensions Actuarial Services group, and in this role was also responsible for a number of significant performance management, recruitment and reward redesign projects.Specialties: Actuarial, pensions and employee benefit consulting work, client relationship management and managing actuarial students, newly qualified actuaries and consultants.
