Andrew is a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office and a licensed attorney of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has extensive knowledge and experience in US patent practice in both the private and public sector.Prior to law school, Andrew was a Scientific Advisor at an IP boutique law firm where he prosecuted patents in a wide variety of technology areas including electronics, semi-conductors, medical devices, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and business methods. In law school, Andrew spent a summer working for the United States Patent & Trademark Office learning intricacies of international IP procurement and complexities of IP litigation in the federal courts. Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School where he graduated with Pro Bono Distinction. During law school, he participated in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program and represented a variety of non-profit clients in the Environmental Law Clinic. He also served as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and led campus diversity initiatives.
