As the Product Development Partners Senior Consultant, drawing on varied business and IT roles to aid in translating the requirements of users to real functionality in PLM solutions.Continuing to expand knowledge and expertise in consulting and implementing multiple systems with implementations around the globe. Either working on behalf of many of the leading PLM Software Suppliers, or helping clients directly to implement a PLM solution in the right way applying best practices, logic & common sense.As part of the PDP team has helped to develop a flexible approach to PLM implementations in the Retail/Apparel sector allowing PDP to efficiently implement a number of different PLM solutions from the more traditional to those requiring an “agile” methodology, whilst ensuring the correct levels of control & documentation, & still deliver on time & to budget.Notable PLM Supplier System worked with include Centric 8, Gerber Unique, Visual Next PLM/PLMS, Lawson Fashion PLM, PTC Flex PLM.PLM Implementations have ranged from complete “End to End” PLM projects, with the full lifecycle from Process Analysis, through configuration, training, go-live & post go-live support; to specific implementations of PLM modules, integration specifications between PLM & other systems including ERP, Planning & Merchandising solutions; reporting & training on specific PLM solutions.PLM implementations with clients ranging from the US (Build a Bear Workshop), across the UK & Europe with JD Sports Fashion, Ben Sherman Group, amongst those in the UK; Mexx, Veldhoven & G-Star in Holland; Voice AG, Gresvig Sports AG in Norway; Kwintet in Sweden & Hong Kong; Tally Weijl in France; Tom Tailor in Germany. Additional services such as reporting, integration specifications; extended support; training & documentation have been provided to other clients & also to PLM software suppliers.

• Working in the company’s IT department specifying, designing, implementing & supporting new & existing business IT systems• Analysing initial business requirements from personnel at all levels to produce effective specifications• Project managing both internally/externally developed bespoke systems & off the shelf enterprise business applications, including specifying & modifying as required• Implementation of a new Product Lifecycle Management system, including the development of an integrated costing solution allowing Courtaulds to effectively collaborate both internally & with its suppliers• Specification & implementation of a new Contract Control system, including a customer interface.• Five month feasibility study on the replacement of the company’s financial systems• Effective training of company personnel as part of implementation & follow up support of the company’s merchandising systems

• As Helpdesk Team Leader for all UK operations, instrumental in improving the HQ Support team’s SLA performance from 65% to 90%• Migrated same system & efficiencies to all UK sites & subsequently to Courtaulds Moroccan support team, resulting in a best practice approach to support• This role expanded to that of Business Support Team Leader where I was responsible for managing a team of thirteen across multiple UK sites.• As IT Security Officer for Sara Lee Courtaulds, I was a member of the Sara Lee Global Security Council, & helped to formulate security policies in line with Sarbanes Oxley regulations & was responsible for the implementation into Courtaulds

• Delivering company’s core business IT solutions• Implementation of SSA’s BPCS ERP solution into its Ladieswear division for warehousing & distribution, including backwards integration into its existing MRP II solution for work in progress control, financials & purchasing• Responsible for year 2000 compliance of Courtaulds legacy MRP II solution used across three UK division & manufacturing units in Morocco & Sri Lanka• Post implementation trouble shooting of Cognos BI tools used as a reporting solution for the implementation of BPCS into the Gossard division, to facilitate significant performance improvements
