My name is Andrew Sood and I am a play-by-play broadcaster with experience broadcasting many different sports at many different levels. I am currently a freelance broadcaster and production worker working at American International College, UMass, Boston University, and Dartmouth.I prepare very diligently for all games that I work, regardless of role within. I love to find the stories and stats you may not have heard or thought about, but that answer the question, “Who are the players and how did they get here?”I have experience in Media Relations, serving as Assistant Director of Communications with the Westfield Starfires and an Athletic Communications intern at American International College.I also have experience in Public Address announcing.In addition, I am a UMass Transit Bus Driver and Dispatcher for the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) and UMass Transit Field Trip Services.I graduated from UMass in the Fall of 2023 with dual degrees in Finance (B.B.A.) and Sports Journalism (B.S.).
