About Andrew Stairs

With over 14 years working in the games/film/TV/Design industry I have worked on multiple game titles, Films, web animations and architectural designs. In addition to industry experience have gained a degree in visual communication design majoring in 3D/animation design. Over this time I explored Graphic design, type design, interactive/web design, advertising, 3D animation, 2D animation, video editing, audio design, life drawing and industrial design. This gave me the ability to learn quickly and adapt to any situation. I am very passionate about my work and my goal is further my career as a character artist in either films or games.Specialties: Low poly modeling, high poly modeling, UVLayout, digital sculpting, texture painting, baking maps for a next gen/high end asset pipeline, poly reduction/optimization, environment lighting, rendering, rigging, compositing, shader setup, exporting character for in-game and pre rendered cut scenes.
