As a boy I was always taking things apart and putting them back together again, watches, clocks, toys and even an electric oven. I was fascinated by how things worked and always tried to make them work better, sometimes I even managed it.My first office job I was confronted with my first computer, it made perfect sense to me and soon enough I was working my way through the ranks to become the youngest branch manager in the history of the company. In my career I relied on using technology to deliver results and from that passion grew an understanding of the reliance of businesses on technology. In 2002 I took the leap and started my own business delivering IT Support services to Small and Medium Sized businesses. My reputation soon spread and my business has continued to grow and deliver robust solutions and services to my clients.In 2014 I was asked to quote for IT Systems for a Land and Property Auctioneer, I got heavily involved with the project and ended up owning and running the business. The great thing about property auctions is that it’s a quasi-legal service and there are no grey areas, there’s no chains and put simply you sell a property to the highest bidder. Running businesses in different markets is not as difficult as people would have you believe, the key is good management, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the staff and empowering them to make decisions. Add in robust IT Solutions that allow staff to act and react in a timely manner to any enquiry and you have the winning formula.In 2018 I was approached by South East and Central MIND and asked to sit on the Board of Directors, I attended several meetings and accepted the appointment in late 2018, I was officially registered as a board member in January 2019. I believe I have one of the best teams of people in the country supporting my endeavours and forging a career for themselves, my staff, family and friends are my success.
