My responsibilities include the anaylsis and development of the employee benefits software suite for key financial service companies (including Sanlam Financial Services, RFS Solutions, Rand Water, WSM and M-Cubed). I was also included in the business process automation through the workflow services solution at Sanlam Retirement Fund Solutions and the implementation of MIP's new software solutions. I was also afforded the opportunity to work within the Research and innovations team for 2 years developing and maintaining the company services including the OAuth2 authorization solution (catering specifically for Microsoft Azure, Google and Facebook platforms). My responsibilities were software analysis and development, client and software support and database administration for various district and local municipalities and water boards (these mainly include the Knysna Local Municipality, the Swartland Local Municipality, the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality, the Mossel Bay Local Municipality, the Overberg District Municipality, the Nxuba Local Municipality, the Nama Khoi Local Municipality, the Sol Plaatje Local Municipality). I was also involved in various projects including the analysis and development of a financial solution for the management of the South African members of Parliament for the South African government, as well as various projects to develop and implement micro financing solutions through a Telesis Interactive.

My responsibilities included the analysis of clients’ software needs and development of websites. I reported directly to the CEO on technical advances and client satisfaction. I was also involved in the development of client websites (both corporate and private) from planning, through the SDLC and deployment/maintenance of these websites. I was also involved in the development and maintenance of a software management solution for a national travel company called 'Baz Bus' which was a door-to-door bus service used by backpacking hostels around South Africa.

My responsibilities included the management of 6 web developers, liaison with sales and clients w.r.t the development of client websites (both corporate and private) and planning, managing and management of the development and deployment of the client websites. My management scope included the communications of requirements to both the graphics team lead and my web development team. I was also required to report to the company directors on technical advances and client satisfaction.

My responsibilities included data migration from legacy cobol systems to progress databases. I was also involved with software development and support the newly developed progress financial system called 'Omnix'. I was also involved in various projects including the support and development of a 2nd tier banking solution for a client called Solace A.M.E.
