As the Projects Tribe Leader I manage a team of solution architects, lawyers, project managers and IT infrastructure architects. We take each project through the full lifecycle, from concept, costing and pricing, contract negotiation, project delivery management and post completion learnings.My team would typically be working on 40-50 project opportunities in the sales pipeline, and 30-40 contracted projects in the delivery phase.Recent highlights include signing a multi-million-dollar project to upgrade critical components of the payment platform for one of New Zealand’s top four banks.My role includes looking for ways to innovate and improve current customer and Kyndryl processes. In 2022 and 2023 I have implemented changes to optimize hardware capital management and detailed network design across multiple service lines.

Managing the relationship between IBM and large enterprise outsourced clients: driving innovation, process & client satisfaction improvement.Successful completion of multiple infrastructure projects to support critical application upgrades and new builds.Over a three-year period, I transformed one large outsourcing contract, with a division of one of New Zealand’s top four banks, from loss making to profit making, and changed the customer satisfaction rating from unsatisfied (5/10) to satisfied (8/10).

Responsible for business development, delivery excellence and profit growth for the IBM Technical Support Services business unit. My team includes three sales people and fifty-five delivery specialists, across three managers. Average annual growth of 5% over the last four years.

Within IBM NZ, Integrated Technology Services (ITS) builds, manages and supports future-ready IT infrastructure. The ITS Account Manager sells a portfolio of infrastructure services to the top forty New Zealand corporations and government departments.For much of my time in this role I was responsible for the sales target and achievement of two sales specialists working within my territory.Sales opportunities in this role include large bids for over NZ$1million where I am responsible for leading a virtual team of product specialists, business managers, contract specialists and other support staff.
