The games are the largest multi sport event hosted every 4 years in a different international city.Reporting to the Head of Finance & Corporate Services with responsibility for managing the finance team and all finance matters related to the running of the 'Games'. The focus was to deliver the event within the State & Federal Governments expectations and ensure these flowed through to all venues, sporting associations and other stakeholder’s budgets, contracts and requirements. During the event staging phase, the role was responsible for running the games headquarter facility and post games for the ‘wind up' of all assets, contracts and commitments including a final audit and report.
