Maintaining desktop applications, network infrastructure, IT security and telecommunications.I have expertise in Microsoft - Desktop, Server and Office, Citrix, VMware, Skype for Business, Symantec, Mobile Device Management plus extensive experience of using Capita OPEN Housing and OPEN Accounts Financials Systems.Key duties include: • Line management of the service desk team which includes coaching and ongoing personal development of individuals. • Responsible for ensuring that infrastructure and applications (both cloud and on premise) are maintained and updated with the least amount of down-time possible. • Management of the ICT Service Desk to ensure all tickets / incidents are resolved in a timely manner against defined SLAs for 200+ users. • Accountable for the IT disaster recovery plan by reviewing and testing at regular intervals to ensure restoration timescales can be met in-line with the corporate business continuity plan. • Responsible for project management of key ICT enhancements / upgrades including full system replacement / rollouts. • Developing and managing relationships with suppliers and partners in order to maintain high levels of collaboration and their deliverables / performance. • Responsible for maintaining the security and compliance of business systems in-line with industry standards. • Internal and external IT audits and risk assessments / Internal and external vulnerability scans and penetration tests.

Responsible for maintaining and developing the network infrastructure including WAN/LAN/VPN, Firewall/Web Filter/SPAM Firewall, Switches, Routers, SAN, Windows 2003/2008 Servers, Citrix XenApp, VMware vSphere, Exchange Server and SQL Server.Provide SharePoint development of the company Intranet sites for both staff and board members plus additional web development of the main corporate website.Plan and conduct the successful restore of the infrastructure, both physical and virtual using VMware vSphere and Symantec Backup Exec.
