I invented the Kasher and launched Swado LLC in 2009 to bring the Kasher to market. Kashers are now sold in all 50 States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. We have over $4,000,000 in revenue and are growing alongside an exploding cannabis industry. Our utility patent was issued in fall of 2013. Combine that with the momentum of our industry and more importantly, the momentum of our brand, and you have a company poised well for future growth. Organize the PRC

Swado LLC was granted two small business loans through MCNW. The first was awarded to complete a market test in the Portland Metro area. With successful market testing, including excellent feedback from consumers and re-orders from retailers, Swado LLC was then granted a larger business loan to implement a full product launch nationwide. We are very grateful for companies like Mercy Corps Northwest who provided the opportunity to make this idea happen. Fresh out of college with no money, and banks tightening up credit all over the world, we would not have been able to get a traditional bank loan to launch our not-yet-market-proven product. However, MCNW specializes in helping low income entrepreneurs and other minorities start businesses that would be impossible to do through a traditional bank loan.
