Andrew is an exceptional individual who manages three companies, including atomi and ACTUS häuse, as well as his own consultancy. Despite his busy schedule, he still finds time to inspire and educate the next generation of leaders at NTU. Andrew is a firm believer in diversity and inclusion, which has served him well as a multidisciplinary and multi-hyphenated leader. He gained invaluable experience in the financial, IT, and consulting sectors while working for renowned firms such as Standard Chartered Bank, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, KPMG Consulting, Ernst & Young, and Infor Global Services. Andrew's inspiring journey serves as a testament to the fact that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible in today's ever-changing world.Andrew teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in both English and Chinese at Nanyang Technological University. He has developed two core modules for the Second Major in Entrepreneurship, which are required for undergraduates across NTU. Additionally, Andrew founded atomi in 2009, aiming to create a distinct brand in the competitive retail industry. He believes in building strong customer relationships and understanding their needs in an ever-evolving retail environment, which has contributed to atomi's growth. Under Andrew's leadership, atomi has received extensive media coverage in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, including TV shows, magazines, and newspapers.Atomi Consultancy provides consulting services to manufacturers, retailers, associations, organizations, and listed companies in Japan and Singapore. The consultancy focuses on developing customized solutions and strategic plans to address current challenges and drive future growth. Notably, atomi consultancy has worked with the Japanese prefectural government on go-to-global markets strategies. atomi and ACTUS häuse have partnered on various residential and F&B business projects in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Japan."The Atomi Way," Andrew's first book, was published in 2023. It explores the unique aspects of Japanese culture, philosophy, mindfulness in business, and the education system. The book is a delightful and enlightening read for those who appreciate Japan's culture.
