I passionately believe that the future belongs to the innovators, the team builders and the idea creators. I don’t measure my career success solely by wins and losses. In fact, I’ve failed as many times as I have succeeded. Whatever challenges I’ve faced over the years, I have overcome with a perpetual sense of optimism and commitment to see failure as an opportunity to explore and create something exciting and new. I’m a mentor and a hands-on problem solver who believes that people are at their best when they are learning and that continuous learning is the key to success. My ability to see problems both at a macro and micro level allows me the ability to think long term yet act short term. In my roles as a marketing and operations executive, I have collaborated with some of the most creative design companies on the planet, and each experience has further added to my ability as an agency leader who has had to navigate fast-moving waters and a volatile market landscape. For four years, I led global design agency Imagination’s marketing and operations efforts in Southeast Asia, with notable account oversight for Shell (and their Make The Future global brand programme). One of my most significant accomplishments was winning the redesign for Marina Bay Sands’ iconic light water show Spectra. For two years, as Regional Managing Director I helped the global experience design consultancy Eight Inc. completely rebuild their operations infrastructure in Asia Pacific while restructuring their P&L management and business development efforts. Eight Inc.’s clients include Apple, Ford, Nokia, Citibank and Virgin Atlantic.In 2018, I launched Wander Consult, a global marketing and growth advisory consultancy that has served clients like the BBC, Fortune Magazine’s Brainstorm Design conference, design consultancy Manyone and NFT startup Brytehall. For brand experience agency Uniplan, I concurrently took on a full-time position as Global Chief Strategy Officer to lead and drive internal transformation and strategic business development. After completing my assignment at Uniplan, I returned to my full-time position at Wander Consult, where I now develop new business opportunities in Asia Pacific.
