With a passion for technology that began with a Spectrum ZX in my youth, I've transformed my hobby into a successful career in software development.From developing and migrating a DOS based ERP system to Windows as a teenager to deploying microservices to Azure, I've continuously honed my skills on an ever-changing software development landscape.Currently at Enate, I've lead the evolution of our tech stack from .NET Framework to .NET 8, ensuring we build upon our foundations rather than replace them. Far too often software vendors take the easy approach and rebuild and replace an offering to avoid tackling their own technical debts. Not here. Not on my watch. This approach has allowed us to bring all our customers on the journey from an enterprise, on-premise workflow solution to a SaaS Process Orchestration Platform, and now to embedding cutting-edge AI. Our strategy is one of innovative evolution rather than disruptive reimplementation.And now with the emergence of AI based on large language models such as GPT-4 my team and I have once again embraced the 'new'.
