This plant also has the advantage of being one of the most modern and efficient lime plants in North America. Pilot Peak offers a full range of sized bulk chemical grade quicklime products including hydrated lime that satisfies a wide range of industrial and agricultural specifications. The Twin Underground mine is a sustainable value addition to an existing surface mining operation. The ore body is a narrow, steeply dipping structure resulting in approximately 1.2 million tons of high grade ore. Ore processed will increase the operation's total gold production, improve ore stockpile blending and extend the life of an autoclave. This operation will utilize the Avoca Stoping and Long Hole Stoping Retreat mining methods.
