Administration and Maintenance of the JBoss, Websphere, and Weblogic environments for the company. Over 1000 individual application servers in all environments, dev through production. Responsibilities include support of multiple application and software modules, running on Windows and several flavors of Linux operating systems, communicating with Oracle, IBM, and MSSql data bases. Constant communication with a multitude of developer, application, and other supporting infrastructure teams is a requirement to maintain functionality and adapt to changing requirements. Frequent communication with software vendors as we explore the limitations of what the infrastructure is capable of is routine.Currently engaged in a migration from JBoss 7.0.9 and Java 8 to JBoss 7.3.1 and Java 11

Designed and implemented highly available RedHat, Oracle, Windows and SQL clustered systems with EMC SAN. Managed, tested, implemented highly visible virtualization projects replacing physical clusters with continual focus on quality control from inception to end.• Implemented revision upgrades to the application, operating systems and databases at sixty production facilities, regularly, with no downtime outside scheduled maintenance windows.• Deployed new implementations of systems into eleven GM facilities, for seventeen production lines, including activities ranging from physical installation of the equipment, software, configuration of the applications, user training, production readiness testing, and transition to operation.• Diagnosed common and uncommon or unique issues experienced, as well as integrating new requirements into already established environments.• Supported onsite and remote offices for all aspects of the company’s user base, company facilities and plants around the globe utilizing various applications and environments.• Managed implementations for, and helped launch critical products which included Silverado / Sierra, the largest volume product, the seventh and eighth generation Corvette, the halo product, and the autonomous Bolt.• Led efforts to reduce risk and negative customer impact by making significant contributions to overall quality efforts and, “cross containment,” by ensuring that any flawed product that left the plant would not be installed or sold anywhere else.

Onsite administration of multiple production critical applications and systems used in the production of vehicles at the GM production facility formerly located in Moraine.Implemented and supported the first implementation of a system that would later be utilized throughout the corporation.• Provided second and third level central support for the systems and applications administered for other sites using them throughout the corporation.• Implemented a new smart client solution for a quality control application, resulting in facility savings of approximately one hundred thousand dollars per facility where implemented.

Onsite administration of critical applications and systems used in the production of vehicles at the Oklahoma City GM production facility. Implemented and maintained production critical client server-based applications while the facility was being retooled for a new product, then supported them during the production life of that product. Assisted in the rebuilding of the facility when it was hit by a tornado in early May 2003.
