I ran the Product Design discipline for over 6 years and also led the Strategy, Data & Analytics, and Research & Insights teams for a stretch as well.I also led many initiatives with brands such as Audi, Roku, Disney, ESPN, Edmunds.com, Microsoft and Sony. The primary type of projects were product design, websites and apps, where I would lead the whole process from initial discovery and research through production.Highlights:• Audi: Led a research and design visioning project for Audi around ecommerce and dealership behaviors, doing digital ethnography research and other qualitative methods. The Audi team called our work the “gold standard” of research and strategy that they'd seen done.• Samsung: Designed the digital companion experience and mobile app for the Samsung 837 space, an interactive playground and flagship store in Manhattan with connected home, VR and AR experiences and live events.• Edmunds.com: Partnered with their internal team on a site redesign, creating a design vision, and designing their highest trafficked areas: the homepage, car model pages and key conversion flows.• BET: Led a year-long project that combined BET’s streaming service, digital editorial library and live event websites into a single platform. The launch exceeded expectations for KPIs such as video views and internal efficiency.As a team lead, I directly managed a team of as many as 9 people, created a structure and vision for the Design discipline, led lunch and learns, and established company process and vision around initiatives like user-centered thinking, client workshops and primary research.

I led product design for Trippy, a social travel startup. I led the design team through an aggressive product roadmap for its website and mobile app. Trippy was a finalist in the TechCrunch Disrupt SF2011 Startup Battlefield.

I taught and built the class curriculum for an Advanced Interaction Design course in the Interaction Design Masters program at the University of Baltimore.

I led the product design for this community-oriented startup. The platform included reviews, lists and ratings created by members of the community, on almost any imaginable topic.

I did Product Design and digital strategy for a variety of clients such as PayPal and USA Today.

I completed information architecture, interaction design and visual design work for a variety of websites and online applications for clients such as AOL, Sprint, AARP, Coldwell Banker and US News and World Report.

I worked with a variety of clients including the UN and several high-profile gubernatorial campaigns, doing information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
