I am a London based, Oxford and Exeter Universities educated Social & FinTech Entrepreneur, Chartered Accountant, Financier and former CEO of LSE listed and VC backed businesses.Over 40+ years I have led, or participated in the leadership teams, of 6 high-growth companies. I served as CEO of 4 private equity-backed (Coal Board Pension Fund, CINVen, Credit Suisse and RBS Equity Finance) businesses and two listed on the London Stock Exchange; 3 in FinTech, 1 in Investment Banking, 1 in Trading and 1 in Retail, and led the turnaround of the UK’s largest, 600+ employee, imaging group listed on the LSE. I qualified as a CA with Arthur Andersen (now Deloitte) in London.I am now assisting a new higher-education charity to build self-sustaining education capacity in low resource parts of the world, where there is a lack of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. I also support and nurture a variety of executive education programs and learners having served as co-chair of the Young Presidents’ Organisation - London Business School Learning Alliance Board.I am skilled at developing diverse teams that are capable of envisioning and creating innovative market offers using process-driven technology platforms, mobilising network effects and social media. This has led to the creation of high volume, scalable businesses that attracted the necessary human talent and funding required to successfully execute their development strategies.I have served markets in Europe, North America, the Far East and the Middle East I was a Semi-finalist in the 2003 E&Y UK Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
