My initial working capital was only $5,000 and it was huge challenge, but the business was successful and grew at an average annual rate of 13% per year for 22 years.As our company grew, we became an approved product supplier to Mitre 10, Repco, Autobarn, Burson, Supercheap Auto and Masters Home Improvements as well as a tier 2 supplier to GM Holden.I eventually sold the business in 2008 and now put my skills to good use assisting and advising other business owners on future business strategy and business planning.The retail sales process is going through the biggest changes we have seen in hundreds of years with the massive increase in online selling. Many SME retails and wholesalers are struggling to adapt to the new methods of product distribution.I have taken a particular interest in all things digital and now advise businesses on their best digital strategies to ensure their business stays relevant to the new world order.We also own a successful manufacturing company called Kool Wrap Heat Protection Products.Our products consists of insulating and heat reflective products for the automotive, marine, industrial, mining, agricultural and manufacturing industries.
