I then return to coaching from 3:30-5:30 or 6 with whatever sport is in season. At 6PM if I am not at an in season competition I work with an off season team either in the weight room or on the field until around 8PM.During the summer I also start at 5:30AM with aquatics followed by football and or all sport camp until about 12 then I start with all other team sports or camps until around 8PM.My focus with teams is almost always teaching them to decelerate and accelerate as well as weight room for building strength and power.I have a less is more philosophy and I focus on less reps and more effort with max velocity for the most part. I also spend way more time teaching and showing applicability of movement and position than most coaches.

Lifezone is a 140,000 Sq ft multi sport training facility featuring two full fields and 2 full basketball courts with a sport performance training field a restaurant a doctor and gymnastics facility. LZ offered Lacrosse, basketball, soccer, Football, handball, and gymnastics academies. My role other than being the Assistant GM overseeing the entire facility at times was to facilitate sport performance training for all academies in house and teams using our facility. I along with my team trained over 400 athletes every week night for speed, agility, strength and power.Over my time with LZ I built the training program from ground zero and by the end we worked with over 30 teams/academies of all levels. The facility also offered Birthday parties and events. We had a successful childcare program and offered many programs for young children in most of our in house sport programs. We started an adult personal training and fitness studio within the facility but before I left the partnership/ownership could not agree on the future goals so I decided to exit and continue working with athletes elsewhere.

Area Director Of Operations

Diversified Brands Inc

As part of a partnership I became operations director of a joint venture where we were involved in several franchises in a few different industries from restaurants to car washes to fitness facilities and golf courses. My role involved helping the franchisors for the concepts we partnered with and assist them in operations. I specifically opened a new business every few weeks whether it be restaurant or health club. Eventually I was managing 32 restaurants and 4 health clubs. Most owned by other franchise operators reporting to me. The JV received the override as the area developer. My daily task before hitting the road to work with new business owners was going over KPIs with each and every location on group calls.Typically I would show up on location 10 days out as contractors were finishing. I would help complete the hiring and then facilitate all of the staff training and implementing all parts of operations. I would train staff and management for 3-4 days and then engineer a soft opening followed by a grand opening.I would also host a new management training session every few months where all new owners would fly in for an intense 3-4 days session. All locations were either Colorado or Utah.
