About Andrew Waldron, Cahp-Acecp

I have over 25 years of experience in research, program and operational management in the fields of architecture, cultural heritage and history. With exceptional knowledge of heritage conservation principles and project management skills, my holistic view of heritage builds on citizen engagement and inter-disciplinary approaches founded on a deep understanding of place.I have been fortunate enough to have researched as an architectural historian many National Historic Sites, including major historic districts and cultural landscapes across the country. Over my career, I have given Canadians in many communities a greater appreciation of their heritage places.Managing the Canadian Register of Historic Places, the Federal Heritage Building portfolio on behalf of the Government of Canada, and managing the operations of Parks Canada's National Historic Sites in eastern and central Ontario allowed me to build a strong skill set for managing major projects and portfolios. At BGIS, I have built a heritage conservation program for this dynamic company.I am always searching for opportunities to connect Canadians with the wealth of cultural history in their country.
