I graduated from Rice University with a B.A. Political Science and Cognitive Sciences, with a Minor in Politics, Law, and Social Thought. I have a strong passion for public policy, which I have pursued through policy research, public service internships, and campus organizing. My policy research at The Brookings Institution, the Baker Institute for Public Policy, and George Washington University have helped me gain strong quantitative and qualitative skills, as well as specific expertise in foreign policy re: Asia-Pacific and China. As an intern at Federal Aviation Administration and Houston City Council, I have developed experience in national and local government, working in organizational management and strategic communications. As the President of Rice University's Baker Institute Student Forum, I have expanded my leadership and project management skills, overseeing event planning, marketing, and budget management, while increasing interest in and accessibility of public policy for undergrads at Rice.I am passionate about Asian-American advocacy and representing AAPIs in public service.
