Dawson Mine

• Review operational standards and implement a program to re-establish the plant throughput back to name plate capacity
• Drive run time improvement projects within the plant
• Review rail performance and implement a strategy to improve compliance to >98%
• Review the department training practices and role carry out a thorough TNA to ensure that all operations personnel are trained, competent & authorized to complete their daily duties.
• Establish a department Hazard database to help highlight and rectify hazards in the workplace.
• Undertake a review of the excess coal spillage & fines dumps and develop plan to reprocess 100kt+ of historical waste material.

Daunia Mine

• Initially employed as part of the BHPBilliton Project Hub in Brisbane as part of the Ops readiness team prior to mobilization to site.
• Recruitment of complete Operational team. (24 plant operators, 4 supervisors, 2 process engineers, 1 department admin)
• Was heavily involved in the development and writing of the sites Safety Health Management System and onsite operational procedures
• Developed and rolled out the ops mobilization plan which fed into the commissioning plan and was a key part of the successful ramp up of production onsite.
• Reviewed the construction team’s progress and was heavily involved in the “Blue Tag” walk downs prior to equipment being signed over to site.

Lady Annie Mine

• I was recruited to this position to assist with returning the plant into operation after a 2yr care of maintenance period.
• The role include recommissioning a crushing plant, Heap leach Pads, SX/EW process along with ancillary equipment including bore fields, water backbones & powerline infrastructure.
• Recruited 30+ tradesmen, established critical spares lists, populated and rolled out MEX maintenance CMMS for the site.
