I am the Business Development Manager at MAPPEM Geophysics, a company that provides innovative and unique marine geophysical solutions to the global offshore, mining, and renewable energy sectors. I have a PhD in Data Geoscience from the University of South Wales and a B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Geology and Computing in Earth Sciences from the University of Southampton and Keele University, respectively.With nearly 20 years of international industry and academic experience, I have a comprehensive understanding of current geoscience methods and technology. I have represented several subsurface technical companies in different geographies and have designed and acquired multiple geoscience surveys to help de-risk subsurface projects, such as seismic, electromagnetics, gravity, and magnetics. I have also worked with leading geoscience software vendors and have a credible background in subsurface modelling and mapping/GIS techniques. In my current role, I coordinate multi-stakeholder relationships, including coworkers, clients, and partners, often over prolonged timescales. I also work with procurement teams, often negotiating creative commercial contracts and agreements, while adhering to best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance. My mission is to deliver marine subsurface solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and partners, and that contribute to the sustainable development of the energy and mineral resources.
