Key Account Manager
CurrentManage key accounts while generating new business opportunities and maximizing the sales within them. Provide monthly product forecast and monitor current industry trends. Tasked with improving customer scorecard in Quality, Production, and Delivery. - In charge of 3 major commercial vehicle accounts ($38M/year).- Process customer inquiries, respond to RFQs, compile quotes, maintain contracts, agreements and prices lists; prepare product costing, establish product sales price for new business, and monitor costs/margins on current business.- Drive newly awarded programs/projects to completion and ensure profitability; plan, control, and direct all sales activities for the account including strategy development and key account metrics.- Act in liaison role between the customer and all departments within the company; maintain credibility and trust with the customers; build a strong, long-lasting customer relationship by serving as the primary point of contact through continuous communication on program milestones, new technologies, and products.
